What do you think of the game selection on ESPN2?

I find it annoying that they only show English teams and Barcelona and Real Madrid. I feel they should show some other teams. How about some Italian teams or even French teams.

I agree they could show more French, Portuguese, Italian, German and Dutch teams (can you say, Ajax?), but at least they are showing something. Truth is, it would also be nice to see Boca Juniors or Corinthians, too. I find it frustrating that real football gets so little coverage here. Fox Soccer Channel is supposed to be pretty good, but our cable service, Atlantic Broadband, doesn't even carry it.

I think the English teams are the most watched and well known teams by U.S. viewers. ESPN is just catering to the viewers by focusing on those teams. That doesn't mean that Steau or Celtic, or other teams aren't interesting. It just means that a Steau matchup against a French club wouldn't be as widely watched as an English team vs. any CL opponent.

They don't even show Real anymore. the number one on their list is showing the english teams, no matter what the opponent (copenhagen - man u????). R u kidding me???....I am a Steaua Bucharest fan, and we've played with Lyon (who at this time must be one of the teams to beat even for Barca), and they didn't show it, and on the 17th we're playing Real, and they don't even show that. What is up with this? Or how about some AC Milan games??Nothing.....

no justice in this world, i tell ya. in my neck of the woods, i get Serie A which i don't watch except for Palermo and AC Milan. No Ligue 1 games at all, only occasional Lyon matches at the Euro, and definitely no uefa cup action. i usually end up getting pay per view if i'm desperate enough to watch a particular game which means spending double for footie pleasure. sucky deal ever!

SHOW CELTIC, they are probably one of the most poular international clubs in America (but thats not saying much)
